Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha...

രാവിലെ ഓഫീസിലെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ സീനിയര്‍ സബ് എഡിറ്റര്‍ ലിഫി തോമസ്‌ ഒരു അസ്സൈന്മെന്റ് തന്നു. see Riya, u can go for this assignment. There is a preview of the hindi film at Woodlands Theatre at 10.30. Go there, watch the film, hang around there for sometime and get the mood...

About Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha

It is a recent phenomenon that Bollywood film makers are ready to experiment with offbeat themes, which were once considered a taboo. Debutant directr Kallol Sen's Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha (Never thought about this) is a venture like this, but flopped. The movie, which is "too mature for Indian audiences'', talks about the unpredictability of modern-day urban relationships.

Neel (Dibyendu Bhattacharya) and Ritu (Seema Mishra), a perfectly odd couple were having a comfortable life for over a year. Ritu's
colleague, Ozzy (Vishal Vatwani), who is a disaster with women, had 13 failures so far and he has got the hots for Ritu.

Meanwhile, Neel has a secret passion for Diya (Sandhya Shetty), a model and Ritu's best friend. But Diya, who is scared of committing keeps bed-hopping with Neel. Sukhi (Rishi Khurana) is Neel's only and best friend. For Sukhi (Rishi Kjurana), Neel's only and best friend, falling in love and out is like changing his dress. He changes his lover every week and finally falls in love with his relationship counselor, Radhika (Madhoo). But to his disamy, she is a lesbian!

The movie advances with these kind of complications and confusions, too many hidden desires and insecurities to explore the intimate issues of the male-female dynamics of modern-day urban India through a delectable romantic comedy.

Love Sex Etc, was the earlier name of the film KSBNT and it seems to be the apt title, as it "talks'' only about sex. The main feature of the movie is that Roja fame Madhoo Bala is playing a lesbian. KSBNT, which looks more like an amateur video, is aimed at home viewers who enjoy film as a pure art.

With nothing special in the movie, what makes it worth watching is editing skill of Ashmith Kunder. The entire movie is in English with a Hindi title and a few conversational pieces.
